The Department of Aging & Adult Services (DAAS) was formed in as a result of merging the Department of Adult Services and the Department of Aging. DAAS is the designated Area Agency on Aging that enables the department to receive Older Americans Act (OAA) funding to provide services. The IHSS Program is a federal, state and locally funded program designed to help pay for services provided to you so that you can remain safely in your own home.
